All,
Was driving my 64 1500 this weekend and enjoying life when I hear a load
clang come from the rear end. I immediately slowed down and pulled over.
Nothing dangling from a cursory inspection so I decide to head home.
All the gears are there and braking seems unaffected. Howver, whenever I get
above 40 mph, there is now this hollow moaning sound coming from the rear of
the car. Rear seal? Wheel bearing? Brake shoe fall off? I am going to get it
looked at but am wondering where to start looking.
