What I'm considering is the use of an early 90's Bosch LH 2.4 Electronic
Port Fuel Injection system that was used on some Euro cars. Parts would
include the ECU, injectors, Air Mass Meter [(AMM) hot-wire-type], O2 sensor,
Temp. sensor, and throttle body with Throttle position sensor (TPS). A
wiring harness could be easily fabricated. The parts would be least
expensive if purchased used.

The BIG problem to overcome is the intake manifold. A custom setup is gonna
be required. $$$ I have to get a car, first, but I'm pretty sure I can make
a system that's gonna perform incredibly well with (I THINK) relatively
inexpensive mods to the factory intake manifold! Plus I have a friend in
the engine management world who can probably help me out by spec'ing the
right AMM and injectors.

Depending on how far I go, there's a possibility of using a high-discharge
ignition system (40kV) that controls the timing of each cylinder
independently - THAT will take a little more work!

Anybody wanna donate a 2.0L engine?

James
