Thanks to everyone for the great feedback on the BRE pages. Pending the new
career move in December (magazine and website editor - a heavy career change
from Corporate Banking), I've had more than a little time to update the site
with info/pics from a number of sources. The October web page updates include
the following new features:-
Bob Studdard - National EP Champion, 1987, including gallery and SCCA
results, together with info provided by Bob's main rival Paul Spruell, (Alfa
driver & 4 x National Champion), and Bill Underwood (now of Blind Hog Racing)
who prepped Bob's car during his successful years - New pages, 10/2000,
further updates to follow.
Tom Brennan - National DP Champion, 1978, including SCCA results and summary
of Tom's racing career - (Note:- pics of Tom's Datsun 2000 are still required
- thanks) - New pages, 10/2000
The Tom Brennan and Bob Studdard pages are the last 2 features making up the
'Full Set' of Datsun Roadster National Champions featured on these pages.
This was my original target for the project, which has taken around 12 months
to complete.
Other major updates in October are many and varied, and include the following
new and updated pages:-
Datsun Racing Team pages - feature on the first factory team on the west
coast before BRE hit the scene - pics, ads and info - New pages, 10/2000.
Linda Sharp pages - Linda bought Fitzy's first 2000 and campaigned this car
successfully for a number of years - New pages, 10/2000.
Joe Hauser - new pics and results for Joe's winning 1976 season, plus
info/pics from Joe's first Nationals (1969) and first National championship
(1974) - Updated 10/2000.
Jim Fitzgerald - includes new pics/info from the 1976 season when Paul Newman
won DP, plus new pic of the Fitzy memorial, Road Atlanta - Updated 10/2000.
Plus a new Hall of Fame of National Champions.

Further updates will appear in time on these and other important Roadster
campaigners. Any info you could provide is always gratefully received and any
guestbook feedback is very welcome. The next updates include a major revamp
of the Bob Sharp pages, and an excellent contemporary commentary and pics
from Fitzy's 1970 National championship win.
