Parts Questions

Hi all,
  I'm in need of the hood release cable, and knob. The threads to my knob 
are stripped. Is this something I should try to get used? Has anyone priced 
something like this out from the dealer? Also, I'm having my hood worked on, 
and I'm not quite sure how to get the chrome trim (above the D a t s u n 
letters) off the hood. Is it glued on?
