I drove a 240Z from California to the East
Coast for a friend of mine, since I happened
to be flown out there for business, I took
some leave and drove back. I charged for
nothing except gas, cheap motels, and
road food, and an oil and filter change
after first 1000miles (rebuilt engine).
Cost was $600. So, if someone is
doing this for money, and not fun, I would
say 1000$ is a very good price. And the
Z car got about 25mpg, so if it was on
a car carrier, fuel alone would be a lot more
of the total. Some of the cool extras the
owner got when I did it included a picture
of his car parked by the welcome signs
on entering each state line.
Best regards,
Jim
