Hi Daniel.
Sounds like the hot wire into the starter (the big one, not the solenoid wire)
is possibly corroded/loose/whatever. Disconnect the battery, remove that wire
from the starter, and make sure everything is nice and clean. The other thing
that comes to mind is your starter is fried;-/
