Check to see that all your fittings are snug and tight. any vacum leak
in the fuel lines will stop the fuel pumping. the glass filter seal is
a usual suspect. the ful pump is so damn simple. I've rebuilt 4 now.
pay close attention to the fuel flow direction!! there are 2 types. In
may really be out and out may really be in! if reversed you are sucking
the fuel out of the carbs
