My 67 1600 agrees. Tried the nut on a bunch of bolts, but only one seemed to
fit. Since the vast majority of the car is SAE, so metric makes sense.
Having said that, I still don;t know what size it is. The bolt head reads
'OF' and '8.8'. 8MM fine? Anyone know?
