Hey List!

Remember me? I didn't think so.
Well anyway, I finally got my roadster!
I took a one-way flight from Kalispell Montana to Sacramento California in
May to meet my new heart-throb.
YEE - FRICKEN - HAW!

When I met her she was suffering from 5th gearitis and carburitis.
My dad and I pulled the engine and trans, and with a little guidance from a
friend, rebuilt the trans with Dick Tillinger's welded 5th gear (fit and
worked great). Got her on the road in 3 days.
The roadster (sunshine yellow) and I met my girlfriend at the airport in
Sacramento and then drove to San Fran to catch a Giants game. We drove that
night to Half Moon Bay and on Saturday we zipped in San Jose to meet the
BADROC'ers for Ken Pletcher's BBQ run. What a great time and what awesome
people! Thanks Ken.
That afternoon we drove the always-under-construction Highway 17 into Santa
Cruz to stay with my sister (her husband drooled over the roadster). The
next day it was back to Sacramento and that night we climbed all the way up
to Lake Tahoe via highway 50 and then down into Carson City, AZ. The
following day we found ourselves smack in the middle of Nevada. Were we
worried? Yes. But 'Ol Yeller just pulled us right through from Winnemucka to
Boise and from Boise to McCall Idaho where my mom lives. We spent the next
two days with my stepdad who was like a little dust devil around the
roadster. We fixed the carburitis and adjusted the valves. 'Ol yeller was
purring better than ever. We left McCall and headed north all the way back
to Kalispell Montana.
Not bad, huh!?
The roadster never overheated, never stalled - hell she never even burped or
farted.

Since returning she has become my daily driver and daily distraction. She is
my on going project and source of entertainment.
This is why I have not written until now. Last week we drove 6 hours across
Montana to Red Lodge for a family reunion.

I want to thank everyone that helped me achieve this dream.
Thank you list....I couldn't have done it without you!
