As I was driving to a friends place, I noticed steam coming from the hood,
getting worse and worse. I pulled over and popped open the hood and coolant
was all over the place. I put in some more coolant and limped home. When I
carefully examined everything I noticed the hose connected to the thermostat
was a little worn. After I took it off, I saw a huge tear from one side. I
temporarily patched it up with some electrical tape, and put everything back
in to test it out. Took a short run to just warm up the engine. Looked under
the hood again, and noticed that there was a very little amount of coolant
that leaked not from the hose but from the actually metal T-shaped plug
where the hose attatches to. It probably was a pin-hole sized hole, but
about a teaspoon of coolant leaked from being driven about 2 miles.

Question: how do I fix this leak? Do I just take it to a radiator shop and
have it fixed? Or is there someway to fix it myself? Is it better to just
get a new, and newer radiator to replace the stock one? How safe is it to
drive? Thanks. I guess I'll have to figure out someway to get to work
tomorrow. :(

PS, if you reply please reply to both hoon@kingstreetrecords.com, and
hoon@pixar.com. Thanks.
