Paul-
You may want to check out www.ztherapy.com Scott generally has quite a bit
of info on the site. He doesn't give too much rebuilder tech, but has seems
to have quite a few thorough pictures of the actual carbs.

This link will take you directly to the 1600 carbs

Well, I got goofy and decided to disassemble my SU carbs--again. Before this
whole frame-off thing began, I just planned to replace gaskets, rubber and
other stuff, then get the beast back on the road. At that time I put rebuild
kits into the carbs, but now that I look at them, they are pretty ratty in
appearance. Going to get the screws and linkages zinc plated and polish the
domes.

Anyone with photos, or willing to take photos of your carbs (67 or
thereabouts) I can use for reference? I think I got all the links and levers
back together right, but I'm not sure, as I pulled them down pre-digital
camera! If you can email some, I would be your bestest friend, as my
daughter used to say.

Will post pics of the process and the completed product at the Photopoint
site.

Have a safe Memorial Day weekend.
