I wanted to add to Laura's post that the Whidbey Island Run. Most (if not
all) of us had never been on a Roadster drive before. It was absolutely the
most fun I can ever remember behind the wheel. Wheeee! Sitting in the
middle of a line of these little cars listening the the buzz of their
engines in sync was such a rush. The scenery was fabulous and the roads
were a fun mix of twisties and country straight-of-ways. Watching the heads
turn as the first one whipped by and then the double and triple take as they
just kept on coming was hilarious. We love to be noticed, don't we? Those
who were there are pumped to do this a LOT more. So NOWROC members, watch
your e-mailboxes. We will probably plan another run toward the end of June.
