For those who were curious about the price on the re-webbing on my seatbelts
from a few weeks ago, I just got the estimate from Snake Oyl. With
re-chroming of the mounts, the estimate came to over $300 (Gulp!) If I just
had the webbing replaced, it would run around $170- still more than I was
willing to spend. I found a website with racequip (I think) 5 pt harness
for $75 per seat. I would have to modify my roll bar for the shoulder
harness- but they would still be safer. JC whitney's website didn't have
anything but a retractable type for GM vans, suppose I could mount the
retractor in the shoulder belt hole, then mount the shoulder pivot on the
roll bar- again more mods. Where would I get a basic, non-retracting 3 pt
belt- do I need to get one of their print catalogs?
