Here's one that I am working on. Tom always suggests adding a wire release
to the trunk and hood latches so that if someting happens and you can't get
the latch to release, all yo do is pull the wire.
I plan on using one of the rear license plate bolts to pull the wire. Install
a longer screw through the license plate and rear deck. Install 2 jam nuts
so that they will stay tight, but still turn with a bit of trouble. Mount a
drum on the bolt and wrap the wire around the drum and secure it. Now, when
you want to pop the trunk open you just tighten the magic screw and the trunk
pops open!
Once I get this finished I will take some pictures.
