Hello all:
The gas gauge on my 68 2000 has always shown the tank to be full. That's
great now that gas prices are going up. Problem is that it's all a lie.
I followed the 1600 book instructions on troubleshooting the system to
see if the problem is in the sending unit or gauge. Determined that the
sending unit was out of adjustment. Removed the sending unit, adjusted
the arm and reinstalled unit. Works great! That was easy! Now that the
gauge reading is correct, I can't afford to fill the tank.
