I have used anti-seize in a spray can on my head gaskets and it worked
fine also. It alllows the gasket to slide similar to the new Felpro
gaskets w/silicon on them.

Not the worst idea, either. I've used Koppercoat on mine for over 25
years and
have never had a blown head gasket.
