i changed the white resistor when i changes the coil. the cap, rotor, and
points are all about a month old.

i worked on the car all day yesterday and found out that my battery had gone
bad. it was a year old battery under warranty so i replaced it. i haven't been
able to figure out what drained it. my gound wire from the battery was a little
frayed, so i replaced that. i'm pretty much back to where i started except now,
when i turn the engine over, still no fire, but i'm also getting a clicking
sound (like if you were to clack two ball bearings together). any suggestions?

my problem sounds kind of like the problem andy jacobs is having on his 69 srl.
