car won't start

I'm still having trouble starting my roadster. It was running very rich and
backfiring when I shifted.  I turned down the idle, it stalled and I still
can't get it started.  The rear carb seems to have some gas dripping out of
the side. Maybe 1 or 2 drops.

any suggestions
