Tunnel brace

Where is this Tunnel brace.
I was just wondering if mine was also missing because my PO cut a lot of
things out when he had the body off.
It does seem to flex much, no chipping on the door jams....
But my frame has no X member, just a removeable trans mount.
Sure make it easy to fit a 2" exhaust pipe and turbo muffler.
