Personally I wasn't bothered by this posting. While I suppose it
"technically" qualifies as spam, it wasn't a blanket emailing advertising a
minus-5-percent interest rate Visa card or a new miracle weight-loss
treatment. It was a carefully targeted ad to a market group that obviously
has some interest in the idea. I guess that would make it "diet spam" or
something like that.
I like the idea of a hat, and while I always prefer to give my money to one
of our regular list members, this guy took the initiative to develop the
idea and present it to us. Sooooo, the big question is: are we gonna do
anything about this?
How about this? Anybody who wants to draw up a design, email it to me and
I'll stick it on my Web site for everyone to take a look at. If we get
enough interest, maybe we can place an order.
