Okay lassies an' laddies,
Yes, it's been a while, but the sun has finally broken
through the clouds long enough to provide me the
inspiration to create... that and I had a bunch of
emails clogging up my SimpleSevens 'to do' box!
First, apologies to the couple of fellows I've met
most recently, and whose cars I actually layed eyes on
- Peter Morton and Keith Brown: Peter is restoring an
S2 racer and owns the Pat Prince special--Tom
Robertson's 'from the ground up lightest Seven ever
built' while Keith's car was recently reskinned by
Prince, and may even have fresh paint on by now! Hey
Keith -- the 'lightest Seven ever built' has the same
goofy rivet arrangement on the scuttle as your
replacement did -- at least Pat's consistent :-)))
Then there's Steve Knoll and his ex-Tony Griffiths
Lotus Seven Clubman, and the site he has developed for
it: http://laprecord.com/Part-100/Pt-Index.htm
And, Bob Challman's sales manager from the early
1960's (I'll get back to you Gene -- I promise!!!)
Anyway, those are tempters for the NEXT update... for
THIS update, you'll find the following luscious
tidbits to treat your winter weary eyes...
Roll Call! Give me a morale boost to help me keep this
site fresh!
