The spark plug of choice on pretty much all tuned Rover V8s is the NGK BC7ES. This is one grade harder than the standard plug and it does not have a projected nose. The electrodes sit almost flush with the cylinder head. These are what all the UK tuners use. The benefits are supposed to be a better burn and plenty of resistance to detonation.
