Here in my 'hood in Oakland, CA for years was a charming bit of art:
A big Healy sitting between two buildings exposed to the elements.....there
just rotting away in peace. I asked the owner a couple of times about
restoring it but she said she might get to it someday......well, wouldn't you
know, someone just hauled it away over last weekend. The trailer they used
took out the corner of one of the buildings too.......So if any of you in the
Bay Area see a white/cream Healy with lots of guano on it, bottoms of the
doors rusted out, let me know....the cops are looking for it too......if any
of you belong to the Healy list, please post this there too....
