...Not so much that Bond "abandoned" the British make for the BMW but, from
what I once read in an "entertainment-oriented" magazine article, that the
producers put the vehicle in question up for bid - can you say "product place-
ment"? - and BMW had just introduced their new roadster, so...Pretty much
the same all through the movie...Probably right down to the socks and under-
wear...
