My wife is a fan of the "Inspector Morse" series on PBS, and she has
taken a liking to the Mark II sedan that the title character drives. As
a result, I've been looking through Hemmings to see what prices and
availability are like. Mixed in with the Mark IIs and E-types were some
listings for Mark IX and Mark X sedans. Since I'm a relative newcomer to
English cars (two years or so), I'm not familiar with these cars, and I'd
appreciate any info folks care to supply. In particular, I'd like to
know the following:

1) How much do these cars look like the Jaguar Mark VII, which I have seen?

2) Is there a good book that covers these cars?

3) What is the parts situation?

4) How do they compare in handling and power with the Mark II?

5) Do they have the poor ventilation/heating systems typical of 1960s Jags?

Thanks much in advance.
Mark Clark
