References to Models (e.g. MkIII) would prefer to AH Sprites.
Obviously the MkIII he refered to would be equiv to the MkII Midget.

2.5" is a lot to shorten the column by, but if I recall correctly,
this is only possible when the steering wheel is "concave" rather than
"flat" (viewed from the plane of the steering wheel). The bottom line
is that finger room between the wheel and the dash region is the
limiting factor.

For optimum control of the car, it is good to have a straighter arm
position than most people have in a stock spridget. I was taught that
in "harness position" (i.e. shoulders flat against the seat back),
straighten the arms and you should be able to touch the top of the
steering wheel with your wrists.  Some folk may not need to either
tilt seat or shorten the steering column, but some people do. If you
don't then ignore the idea!

I don't have digital versions of the other articles, only old
roneostat (sp?) copies that are barely legible. However, I will heed
the call to service and type them in as I can. I'll post them as they
become available.
