In reference to obtaining parts for our little lovelies, I am very
much in agreement with Mr. Burger in Maine and others who suggest
that we make use of local specialty shops. Their expertise has often
offer the answer to that tricky question that I might otherwise have had
to learn the very long, hard way. Also, they get reseller's discounts
that they can pass on to us, and finally, they are a good source of used
parts for those times when a used part will do.
In Denver, my favorite LBC resource is Kats British Car Service in
Englewood, 3201 S.Zuni. 761-1242. Ask for Jim, he's been doing this
forever. My husband bought our 1967 B from him several years ago. It was
in good shape then and is in even better shape now.
