To anybody who is interested, there is a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III
in Boxborough, MA. It belonged to an old french man who just passed away
reciently and his wife is trying to sell it, and getting plagued with people
trying to "get a good deal" from a little old lady who doesn't know what
she's got.
The car is in running condition, and is great candidate for restoration.
The frame and body are in excellent condition, and there is very little rust
on the car. The interior and top are in resonable condition, but both need
some work. The two major hangups with the car: 1) All four fenders are
fiberglass, 2) It's got an MGC engine in it (but she's got the original
engine in the basement)
I appraised the car (unprofessionally) for her at about $6000.
If anybody is interested in this car, I can give you the lady's name and
number.
