jest to the fellow who was anxious to get his Midget started, having been
standing in a barn for three years. Better man than I !
Last night I was chatting over drinks with a fellow LBC nut and gearhead.
He commented that he was ALWAYS ready to buy if a car came his way by
chance. Well, it seems, if we can believe his wife, that he often does
not have to travel far at all. She said, I qoute"
"Well he once bought a car sitting in his pajamas"
There was a very similar line by Grouco once.
It sounds rather uncomfortable to me, but I's be happy to miss a nights
sleep in order to find an E type in my pajamas.
