I bought one of these for my '79 Midget and the fit and finish are
absolutely flawless. If the Spit version is as good, you'll have
no problems.

I got the '75 version because it comes with a little header-to-exhaust
pipe which neatly replaces the catalytic converter on 76-79 Midgets.
My catalytic converter turned into toast long ago.

I ended up not using it because I went to an Ansa exhaust, custom pipe,
and headers. If anyone on the list is interested in the stainless setup,
drop me an email.

I think stainless is the only way to go for exhaust systems. Do it once,
do it right, and you'll never have to do it again. I just put a Borla
stainless system on my pickup which has a million mile warranty. YMMV.
