When you re-install the clutch lever arm, you will have to push the
piston in. When I reinstalled my slave after an overhaul, I was squirted
with brake fluid as the piston moved back and compressed the fluid I had
primed the cylinder with.
A note on clutch bleeding:
Get yourself a 60cc hypodermic syringe and some tubing. Open your clutch
bleeder valve (there is an access cover in the car) and use the syringe
to suck as much air out of the lines as you can. Each time the syringe
fills with air, close the valve, pull off the hose and expell the air and
reattach.
Ifter you start gettin brake fluid into the syringe. Bleed the clutch
normally.
