I've been away fulfilling my civic duties so I haven't kept up lately.
I haven't seen this announcement so I'll post it now:
British Car Day at Woodley Park, Sepulveda Basin.
April 17th with cars arriving around 9 a.m. and show starts at 10 a.m.
There is a fee for entrants around $10? but otherwise free admission.
This is a fun day with ALL types of British marques represented. Lots of
room and it is held on a grassy field with a playground nearby for the
kiddies. Restrooms are the *worst*!! There's usually been a British
food vendor and hopefully they'll be back along with others.
In the past it has been held in October but last year there was a
conflict in dates with the parks people so they held it at a local
airport and it was a flop. So this year they're trying something new.
Two events, one in spring and one in the fall both at the same site.
The fall date I guess will obviously be different than the traditional
date.
To get there take the 405 Fwy. to Burbank Blvd. exit and go west. Turn
right at Woodley and follow the signs or lines of lbc's.
It's a fun day ---- I'll be hanging around TRSC's club table. See ya there!
