The advance on my mini goes to full at around 2500...which is fine
for a race car using race fuel. Not a good idea for pump gas, you
have a much greater chance for detonation. For example on the Aldon
Red Race distributor I bought from the UK a couple of years ago,
full advance came in at about 5000rpm. (tested on distrib. machine)

It would be very unusual to set up a street car to go to full
advance before 4000rpm...unless you are not going to drop below that
rpm in normal driving.

Also...I will be in Orlando, Fl for a quick one day business trip.
I arrive on the afternoon of the 28th of April. Any british-car
types in the area interested in getting together?
