Hello Ian,

I also had Problems with my front end rear suspension.
I didn't want to change to rear tube shocks, because many people
here said that this is not as good as promised. I just changed
the bushes to upraded bushes and this was really a good gain of 
a hard tail. I think that you should also overhaul your rear shocks
and fill it with a 'hard' oil (hyp 90 transmission oil). Additionaly you
could change the read springs with the front springs (they are the same
but shorter) and get uprated front springs to get the car deaper and harder.
All that together should bring a good front and tail suspension.
