Apologies for the wide distribution...
Due to circumstances beyond my control (ie a rapid change in bank account
pressure) I must sell my wonderfull 1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500. As there is
no way I can snow anyone in _this_ group, I'll just list the facts:
1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500. California Smog Legal
(I have a recent smog certificate).
124k miles. Engine replaced circa 1985. Rebuilt ~25k miles ago.
Newly installed rebuilt transmission & new clutch (~2k miles ago).
Absolutely immaculate (& original) interior.
Clean exterior. Would look much nicer with a new paint job...
Hard and Soft tops, tonneau cover, etc.
Always garaged/covered.
I am the third owner. #1 from 1974-~1991 (deceased). #2 (step-son in law of #1)
until 1993, then me.
Almost all records. Most work done by Triumph's Only in San Jose (I have all
the receipts).
The car feels strong, handles very well, and is a blast to drive. Please buy
it from me before I cry. $2750 seems fair. Let me know otherwise.
