Lotus 7

Brother-in-law has a slight problem with his Lotus 7. The lower trunnion
on the front suspension snapped. I took a look at it and it looks like a 
standard Triumph Spitfire part.

Is this right ?

The Lotus he has is built by Caterham but has a Lotus badge which puts it 
around 1973 (?). I think if I got the chassis number I could accurately get
its build date (although it has been built up from parts from several cars).
