In BCN #856 there was an add for an '80 MGB for $39,900. I also saw an add in Dallas, TX for a '79 MGB for $12,000. My theory is that the owner's spouse want the LBC sold but the owner doesn't. So they price the LBC such that if they got the asking price they would be very happy to sell but the chances are very slim. I myself would sell my rust free '71 MGBGT to the first offer over $10,000, however....... So don't be discuraged by high GT6 prices. The owners aren't serious, so you shouldn't be either. M.
