front suspension bushings

I'm planning to rebuild the front suspension on my TR3 and I'd like
to learn about whats available to replace the rubber bushings.
How do nylatron(sp?) and urethane compare to stock rubber in areas
of ride, wear, and appearance?  I thought I remember someone mentioning
that harder bushings could cause wear on the suspension components.

I would appreciate hearing of bushing experiences and sources for the 
various types of bushings.
