When checking out the MGB heater yesterday, the owner asked me to put
this out on the net. He wants to repaint his car, and has found
someone who will do it for him, but he needs to get the old paint off
first. He's leaning towards plastic bead blasting, but the commercial
shops are kind of pricey: $600. Anyone done their own bead blasting
at home? Can regular sand-blasting equipment be used? How messy was
it?
Any other ideas for quick, easy, and effective paint removal are most
welcome.
