list and those of you are old and have forgotten, here's how it goes:
Once a year, in the May-June time frame I (and sometimes Cory) send out a
request to everyone on the B-C mailing list to stuff our mailboxes and bombard
the mailing list with information on their individual assortment of personal
transportation vehicles. Now the stuffing of the mailboxes can't be helped
but the bombarding of the list can be mitigated. Please use e-mail to respond,
don't broadcast to the whole list until you've tried e-mail and it has bounced.

Everything is there, car is restoreable.

not be restoreable.

I've also had some interesting non-LBC cars: a _real_ Porsche Speedster, a '64
Ford Mustang, a Simca 1000 Bertone, a BMW Bavaria, a BMW 2002 Tii, a BMW 320i,
a Pontiac GTO, a Volkswagen Rabbit, a SAAB Monte Carlo, etc.
The only truly boring cars I've ever had were a '73 Ford Thunderbird and a
succession of Dodge Vans ('67, '75, '77). To make up for them, I've built
race cars and crewed for them since I was in highschool; the cars included
several Austin-Healey (Bugeye) Sprites, an A-H 100-4, a Fiat-Abarth 1000D, a
Fiat-Abarth Zagato (the "double bubble" model), a Lotus XI, various Formula
cars, etc.
As for motorcycles, yeah, I've had a few of them, the most interesting being a
_pristine_ 1947 BSA 350 single, virtually a civilian version of the cycles BSA
built for the British War Department during WWII. Original paint, speedo in
the tank, etc. Lovely, reliable, etc. Yet another in a long line of things I
wish I'd never sold ... I also had a 1948 Triumph 500 "Sprung Hub" twin, a
Zundapp, an NSU, a couple of BMWs, a whole bunch of Hondas, etc. Almost
bought a Velocette, once. If you don't know them, they are the absolute,
distilled essence of English single-cylinder motorcycles.
Just to keep my Whitworth tools from rusting, I'm currently assisting in the
restoration of a Vincent for a friend; it will be a "1" when it's done, but
it was pretty good looking to start with. Too bad the inside of the engine
wasn't as nice as the outside. Vincents are unique in the history of
motorcycling, and their one-litre V-twin engines are unlike any other; for one
thing, the rocker arms actuate the valves via collets _below_ the valve
springs ... The Black Lightning has a huge, clockwork-driven 150 MPH speedo,
and means every bit of it. Pretty hot, for 1953.
As for getting another LBC, well, that's in the cards, but I'll have to
expand the house or move first; I really don't have any place to keep another
car here at present. It has to be a roadster, though. I'd love another
Bugeye ...

The Triumph spent the majority of its life in New Mexico. When I bought
it, about all you could say for it was, "well, its not rusted." Since then
I stripped every part off the car and removed the shell from the frame. It was
repainted BRG. Currently the car is reassembled and being driven. I plan
to recondition a GT6 frame and driveline and put the Spitfire bodyshell on it.
Further in the future, I have some friends who are trying to design
a combination tube/monocoque frame which will again use the Spitfire body
shell. The hope is to transplant the aluminum V8 into it. Perhaps this will
be done to another bodyshell.
