I am a new member of this list and this is my first posting. I'm sure
that this discusion will not be new to any early MGB owner. I have been
restoring a 1963 MGB for the past 2 years an have finally started on the
bodywork, more specifically the doors. My question follows;
What is the most efficient way to fix the small fissure, (i.e. "Crack of
Doom"), that has been slowly creeping down each of my doors just aft of the
wings?
I was thinking of soldering an old piece of fender material to the back side
of the doorskin, but am concerned with the longevity of this fix.
