The annual Father's Day British Car Show is going on now at Madison
Square Mall in Huntsville, Alabama. The cars will be on display
through Sunday during regular mall hours. If you're in the area,
come on down and check it out. Be sure to look me up if you stop by,
I'll be at the mall pretty much the entire weekend.
Twenty-five cars were loaded into the mall last night, with a few more
stragglers coming tonight. Highlights are a '29 Rolls-Royce, a '38
Rolls-Royce, and a '53 Sunbeam Alpine. The '38 Rolls has won several
shows around the country. Some of you may know or have heard of the
owner, George Simmons of Pulaski, Tennessee.
This is a record-setting year for our show. For the first time in
history, we have a Spitfire! Hard to believe that it's taken 8 years
for someone to display their Spit, but it's true. And one of the
stragglers tonight is another Spit!
