The November issue of Motor Trend reports that Sterling will close up
shop in the U.S. due to poor sales. I don't have it here, and I can't
remember if a date was given as to when operations will cease. But
now may be a good time to go make a riduculously low offer.
As someone else stated, a Sterling is nothing more than a Legend with
different coachwork, so your local Honda/Acura dealer should be able
to handle any mechanical problems that arise.
That same issue of Motor Trend reports that Peugeot is also closing
is U.S. operations and dealer network.
