Well out of the 20+ engines I have rebuilt, mostly 'merican mind you, I
prefer a product called Lubriplate. It comes in many forms, I use the
grease gun tube version for wheel bearings, the squeeze tube for almost
all other things. I have tried a variety of other types of lubes but
Lubriplate seems to be the best in my mind. My stepfather introduced the
stuff to me when he worked for Santa Fe, and that is what they use to
pack wheel bearings and such. You can find it at most of your local auto
parts houses, if not there you most definetly can find it at a bearing
house.

Anyone got any other ideas?
