All the people who mentioned canvas tool bags have the right idea.
The electronic techs who repair the workstations around here have
these really nice "Cordura" nylon bags. Three outside pockets with
velcro closures, lots of slots, loops, etc. inside for holding tools.
Very efficient organization. They hold a helluva lot of stuff, and
look like they wouldn't rattle or slide about too much. I saw one in
a recent Sears tool catalog. I'd love to have one. Too bad it's
"only" $63 (just the bag, tools not included). There's also a
smaller version for "just" $42.
In that same catalog I noticed a small parts washer, with drain basket
and pistol grip sprayer, for $50.
I've got the catalog at the office. E-mail me if you'd like the part
numbers for this stuff.
