Ross, (or anyone else that can help)

Saw your posting on the TR-7 Fuel Injection problem. My son and I
just bought an '81. In checking the system over visually I found
the 4 air hose connectors between the log manifold that has the
cold start injector mounted to it and the actual manifold that
bolts up to the cyclinder head to be cracked. All 4 of these
rubber hoses had bad cracks which leaked air profusely. I checked
with the Roadster Factory and found that the part is NLS (No longer
supplied). Do you have a ready source of fuel injection parts
in California? If so, please let me know who that is.

For the record, and on the chance you might also have a spare or
two, the part is as follows:

  Factory Part Number UKC6988
Four (4) of these items are on each car.
It is a rubber air connection shaped as a slight elbow (maybe 20
degrees or so). One end is a larger diameter than the other.

The part is shown on page 50 of The Roadster Factory's RFC TR7
  catalog, lower right diagam.

I would accept used parts also. The air leakage problem has been
temporarily 'fixed' with that old standby black vinyl electrical tape.
