     Just in case anyone thinks that these wrenches are
     plentyfull in the UK, they're not !
     I have two 14mm ``spanners'' as we call them and
     being cheap items they are slightly inaccurately
     ground. The larger of the two does just fine for
     the ``smaller than 9/16'' size on brake unions.

We must have the same problem over here because my 14mm slips on the
smaller-than-9/16 bolt head and nut.  In fact, the correct wrench I now
have isn't going to do it either (the whole bolt turns) so I went back
to O'connor's and ordered a socket of the same size.  Probably I could
get one of the bolts out with the tools I have but the access to the
rest is just so limited that a socket seems to be the only reasonable
option.  Even that's not going to be too easy.  Besides, I suspect I'll
have a need for these tools in other places on the car.

I found that I can just fit a 16mm socket on the other nut (which I
thought was .624").  A 5/8 doesn't fit at all so I probably mismeasured
it.  Fortunately 16mm wrenches are pretty easy to come by.

BTW, I picked up a flyer for new wire wheels and wire wheel repairs while
I was ordering my socket.  It looks virtually identical to the one from
British Wire Wheel that Mark Rosneck posted, even down to the wording.
The main difference between them is that the prices at O'connor's are
lower by a few dollars; typically $5 less on a new wheel.  The rates for
repair services are lower too.  I also noticed that they sell Moss parts
there.
