I'm a member of the Rocky Mountain Triumph Club(Denver)and I just
received the "official" VTR National Convention information, so I
thought I'd pass it onto you. If anybody has any questions, I'll
try to get the information for you. I don't attend many meetings
in the winter as it's a couple hours drive there and back.
Here goes....
When: August 1-5, 1990
Where: Boulder Colorado(~30 Miles Northwest of Denver)
Dear Triumph Enthusiast:
The Rocky Mountain Club(RMTC) cordially invites all Triumph Owners
and enthusiasts, their guests and their families to join us for the
1990 Vintage Triumph Register's Annual Convention. RMTC is proud to
be hosting this event and is proud of Colorado and all it has to offer.
Boulder is located 30 Miles Northwest of Denver, at an altitude of
5,430 feet. Boulder, in August, has a countless number of warm, sunny
days and cool, clear nights. Boulder is the home of the University
of Colorado and stands at the gateway to the Rockies. The area offers
scenic beauty, recreational activities, and plenty of early western
history.
The Rocky Mountain Triumph Club encourages all Triumph enthusiasts
to seriously consider planning your family vacation around the 1990
VTR Convention. The convention itself will be prepared to accommodate
every family member's needs and we have taken numerous steps to assist
you with extending your trip to the Rocky Mountain Region, such as
special airline rates, accommodations throughout the area, rental
cars, sightseeing trips, etc.
As for the VTR Convention itself, we of RMTC are dedicated to making
it the best ever with plenty of car events during the day and four
fun-packed evenings. Plan to register early as the first 250
registrants will receive a deluxe welcoming package.
As a special incentive for attending the 1990 VTR Convention, each
registrant will receive a chance to win an all expense paid trip
for two to England, compliments of Continental Airlines. This
drawing will be held at the awards banquet and only registrants will
be eligible, no other tickets will be sold for this special drawing.
Register early, plan your vacation and come to the Rockies in 1990
for the greatest VTR Convention ever. Early registrants(before June
1st) will receive an extra chance for the trip for two to England.
