My take on it, Kevin, is that the vacuum is leaking in the diaphragm of the
booster. They are designed not to fail, but the assist will not be there, so
basically you get manual brakes.

John

I have not noticed any significant change to
the feel of my brake peddle
but I have heard a hissing noise coming from the
booster. What is that
noise caused from? Is something about to fail?

Thanks

Greg. I redid all
my brakes on mine this summer. Mine is like that, but
needs
a new rebuild on
the booster, I can hear it hissing.
I hope it improves once I
have that done..

I have
completely
replaced the brake system except for the brake lines and
still feel
like I
have to push the pedal to the floor to stop the car. My
last hope was
a new
brake booster which I had to have rebuilt. I installed it
after the
meet and
bleed the lines while pulling the pin on the poporting
valve. I bled
a lot of
fluid through the system on each wheel since the
booster had been off
for
several weeks I wanted to make sure there was no air
in the lines.

Is
this
just normal for a Brickiln and I have to live with it?
