I'm having this exact problem with #760 and the link wire was completely
destroyed up to a certain point. I guess it performed its fuse function.
:-) Do the Bricklin vendors carry a new one or can a fuse of value be
substituted?

Thanks in advance, Sean

Mike,

Check the back side (nearest the firewall) of the starter solenoid. It's
on the bottom of the pass. side front fender well. The large black wire
is the main power feed. There is a red wire there that is a fuseable link.
This is the main power feed to the rest of the car.

Is you am gauge connected? If the connector on the back of the am gauge is
disconnected you will have NO power to the car either. The fuseable link
feeds this connector at the am gauge. You can pull this connector and
see if you have power there. (Check both sides - only one side will have
power.) If not my guess is the fuseable link is blown.

John
